ALAMOSA — One of the San Luis Valley’s next water threats may be in the ballot box this November.
If voters ultimately approved them, initiatives making their way through the pre-ballot approval process could drastically alter the way water is managed not only in the Valley but the entire state.
“This is something extremely important for the water community,” Floyd Ciruli of Ciruli Associates said during a statewide webinar/teleconference Tuesday afternoon.
