TSJC faces $2.6 million deficit

ALAMOSA ó Implementing a hiring freeze and reviewing areas for potential cuts, Trinidad State Junior College is dealing with a $2.6 million deficit.

The deficit ó and the cuts ó will affect both the main campus in Trinidad and the Valley campus in Alamosa.

ďItís both campuses, itís instruction, itís student services, itís administrative offices. Thereís no one piece of the institution. Itís across the board,Ē explained TSJC President Dr. Carmen Simone on Monday.
