The unofficial results for Costilla, Conejos, Mineral, Rio Grande and Saguache Counties are as follows:
SAN LUIS — Costilla County voters last night chose Michele Esquibel over challenger Jane Kircher in the only contested race for the Centennial school board. Esquibel received 353 votes compared to 260 votes for Kircher, according to the unofficial results released last night by the Costilla County Clerk.
Lori Espinoza was unopposed in District 2, Centennial school board, and received 503 confidence votes. Carlos DeLeon was also unchallenged for the District 4 position at Centennial, and he received 545 confidence votes.
The “de-Brucing” question for the Costilla County Conservancy District was nearly a draw, with 300 “no” votes and 297 “yes” votes.
On the state questions, Costilla County voters struck down Amendment 66 with 660 against and 494 for; and mirrored the state in their support for Proposition AA with 699 votes for it and 432 against.
