DENVER—Gymnastics glory will be on the line on Friday and Saturday as the Alamosa High School Gymnastics team has qualified seven to the 2013 Class 4A Colorado High School Gymnastics State Championships at Thornton High School.

The Mean Moose, coached by Co-Head Coaches Delhia Mahaney and Analicia Lopez, has seven qualifiers, one more than last year where several gymnasts who should qualified barely missed out. They are spread out through three events during the day. The Moose are also assisted by Gretchen Rachliss.

The meet begins at 8:50 a.m. on Friday morning with the preliminaries. Alamosa will be in Group B in the rotations with several individuals who did not qualify as a team.
