ALAMOSA In the course of performing their duties on March 19, three Alamosa Police Department officers became heroes.

Officers Brian Cooper, Daniel Jimenez and Corporal Kenny Anderson responded to an emergency call of a 27-year-old female who was unresponsive and not breathing at 1415 Ross Avenue. The officers found the woman lying on the bedroom floor. She was not breathing and had no pulse.
