ALAMOSA — Several roads within the county are a cause of concern for both citizens and the Alamosa County Commissioners (ACC).
Alamosa County Commissioner Michael Yohn said during the ACC’s regular meeting on Wednesday, he has fielded at least four phone calls in recent weeks regarding the county’s responsibility when it comes to road maintenance.
The problem, he said, is the county only maintains roads it has designated, and that does not include private drives and a number of other access points.
“They (residents) are under the assumption the road will be taken care of,” Yohn said. ‘That’s not always the case.”For the complete article see the 10-11-2013 issue.
