ALAMOSA — More and better recreation opportunities were the two primary themes coming from a survey recently sanctioned by the San Luis Valley Great Outdoors Coalition (SLVGO). Based on the findings, the coalition will work through the winter to prioritize projects and come up with a game plan for improvements across the valley in the coming years.
Residents can voice their opinions until Oct. 10 by logging on to www.surveymonkey.com/s/slvgo. Meanwhile, the preliminary findings from approximately 300 respondents were presented to SLVGO members on Thursday afternoon by Mimi Mather of Root House Studio in Boulder. For the complete article see the 09-28-2013 issue.
