Criminal mischief smashes Alamosa

ALAMOSA ó†A series of vehicles in Alamosa fell victim to a destructive hand over the weekend.

Seven vehicles were found with shattered windows Sunday morning throughout Alamosa, according to Alamosa Police Department (APD) reports. The motive remains unknown, especially since nothing was stolen in what the authorities classify as a criminal mischief offense.

The multiple crime scenes were scattered about the city, showing no connection, according to the APD reports. Officers responded to Hunt Avenue, Twelfth Street, South Craft, Diamond Drive, Douglas Avenue and Brown Avenue.

The Hunt Street incident occurred sometime between 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 24 and late Sunday morning, according to the APD reports. The unknown vandal smashed the driverís side window of a freightliner truck. A Chevrolet Avalanche was also discovered with a broken driverís side rear window and a dent in the door on Twelfth Street.
