Last week we heard the words from the U.S. Pentagon that there was indeed an AREA 51 as alleged since the early 1940ís.
At the same time, no one is officially stating what was or is going on in that area. After years of documenting football sized trenches filled with caustic chemicals that the military dumped in these shallow pits, many workers at the infamous base have tried to collect reparations for medical expenses from exposure to the cancerous materials that were ordered dumped and set on fire. The lawyer interviewed on the Today Show said that despite all the evidence and the eye witnesses, the military declined to ever acknowledge the existence of the base. Therefore, none of the claimants received any compensation.
As a skeptic about what truth is really getting to us, Iím still not believing that the purpose of the base was merely to eliminate dangerous materials. Strategically, the country could use secret stations to refuel, download SETI data and learn more about math, the ďmultiverseĒ language throughout the stars.
A day after the announcement, some UFO enthusiasts hoped out loud that this recent announcement would lead the way for full disclosure. As a scifi fan, Iím looking forward to future revelations.
