Alamosa recognizes city clerk

Posted: Wednesday, May 8th, 2013

The Alamosa city council congratulates Alamosa City Clerk Judy Egbert and Deputies Sharon DeHerrera and Holly Martinez for Municipal Clerks Week, May 5-11. The ladies in front from left are DeHerrera, Martinez, Mayor Kathy Rogers and Egbert. From left in back are City Councilmen Josef Lucero, Leland Romero, Greg Gillaspie, Rusty Johnson and Charles Griego. The Office of the Municipal Clerk is the oldest among public servants and serves as an information center for local government. Locally the office handles a variety of duties from city council minutes to liquor license applications and elections to municipal court proceedings. Mayor Rogers said Alamosa is fortunate to have a wonderful city clerk and team. “We enjoy our work,” Egbert said. “Everything we do really is as a team.”
