ALAMOSA — Valley juniors and seniors convened at Adams State University (ASU) on Thursday for 2013 Career Day to think about their futures.

This year’s Career Day goal was to target all Valley seniors and juniors in preparation for their post-secondary workforce readiness process. Each student had the opportunity to hear from Valley professionals and learn about what it takes to be successful.

This year’s sponsors included ASU, Trinidad State Junior College, San Luis Valley Board of Cooperative Services and Colorado Workforce Training. More than 20 local businesses and agencies participated in the event.
