Sermon: The tomb is empty

Posted: Friday, Mar 29th, 2013

Matthew 28:6 “The angel said He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

When we think of Easter we should think of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As believers in the Bible as the true Word of God and everything in it as truth, we believe Jesus was the first to be raised from the dead.

When He finished His work here He went back to Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for the believers.

I Timothy 2:5 “There is one God and one Mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.”

The tomb is empty. Jesus is not on the cross. He is alive.

Jesus has changed the world more than any man. After 2,000 years He is still the center of mankind. We all should read His Book the Bible and see what God has to say to us, for it is the only book with the truth.
