ALAMOSA — Authorities are still investigating the apparent October 2012 homicide of a Valley man, and they’re asking anyone who might have any information about the incident to come forward.
In particular, they want to hear from eyewitnesses who may have observed any activity at or near 401 11th St. between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m. on Oct. 28.
Firefighters arrived at that address just after 6 a.m. that day, following a report of a structure fire. As they worked their way through the fully engulfed structure, they found the body of a 55-year-old man who was later identified as Glen Olivas.
At that point, the Alamosa Police Department and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation were called to this scene of the incident, which remains under investigation as a homicide and an arson.
Those who have any information, please call Alamosa Police Capt. Robert Jackson at 589-2548, or Colorado Bureau of Investigation Agent Mark Morlock at (719) 542-1133.
