ALAMOSA — Based on the recommendation of KRW and Associates, the consultant retained by the City of Alamosa for its new city manager search, the city has extended its application period for the position of city manager to February 28th at 5 p.m., Interim City Manager/Police Chief Craig Dodd announced on Wednesday.
“This does not change our timeline for the remainder of the process,” he said.
He added the city has currently received 35 applications and hopes to garner a few more over the next week for city council and the consultant to consider.
The city manager search began after the resignation of Nathan Cherpeski who took a job as city manager in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
