Worleys celebrate 60th anniversary

MONTE VISTA — Carl and Audrey Worley, long time residents of the Sargent area, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on January 31.

In 1953 Audrey and Carl were married in Pueblo. Carl and Audrey were stationed at Ft. Sill Okla., for the first few months of their married life and then Carl was sent to Korea.

Audrey, Carl, and their new daughter Annette moved to the San Luis Valley after Carl returned from Korea in 1954. They have farmed since then and have raised four more daughters and now have nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

They are celebrating this grand occasion with an open house at their new home, 6970 North Road 4 E, Monte Vista. All friends are welcome to stop by and celebrate with Carl and Audrey on Saturday, February 2, from 1-4 p.m.
