• A 17-year-old juvenile from Monte Vista was cited for unsafe backing, $100, 2 points.



January 3

• Alexis Nicole Cordova, 29, Alamosa, was summoned at Walmart for theft.



January 4

• Danielle Kingsley, 24, Monte Vista, was summoned at Walmart for theft under $100.

• Jolene Martinez, 48, Lakewood, was taken into custody and summoned for violating the conditions of a protective order.



January 5

• Michael Carey Atwater, 66, Creede, was cited for following too closely, $150, 4 points.

• Chelsea Renee McNerney, 24, Alamosa was summoned for displaying expired number plates.

• Kayla Marie Maes, 24, Ft. Garland, was summoned for driving under the influence, DUI per se and unsafe backing, 26 points total.

• Calvin Tibbs, 25, Crestone, was taken into custody at Community Corrections for first-degree introduction of contraband and unlawful possession of a Schedule I controlled substance; his bail was set at $50,000. Police say they recovered 0.47 grams of heroin from the scene.



January 6

• Chailie Naranjo-Gallegos, 18, Monte Vista, was summoned for driving a motor vehicle when a license has been suspended, speeding — 45 miles per hour in a 25-mile-per-hour zone and failing to provide or use restraints for a child one to three years old.

• David Lee Sagaser, 62, Alamosa, was cited for failing to use turn signals as required, $100, 2 points.



January 7

• Linda Lou Bradbury, 64, Wheatridge, was summoned for careless driving and failure to remain at the scene of an accident involving an injury, 4 points.

• Debbie Garcia, 53, Center, was cited for limitations/ unsafe backing of a vehicle, $100, 2 points.

• David Corbin Hales, 34, Alamosa, was summoned for driving under a revoked license — canceled/ denied and driving with improperly attached validation stickers.



January 8

• Lauren Taylor Keen, 22, Alamosa, was cited for failing to dim high beam lights and compulsory insurance, $660, 6 points total.

• Jimmy Mix, 42, South Fork, was summoned for displaying expired number plates.



January 9

• Javier Lawrence Salazar, 31, Monte Vista, was summoned for driving when revoked as a habitual traffic offender, defective license plate lamps and number plates not clearly visible.
