Richard Dominguez, 78

Born in Trinidad, CO and formerly of Alamosa, CO and Colorado Springs, CO resident Richard Dominguez, 78, died Dec. 16, 2012, at Colorado State Veterans Home in Denver, Colorado after lengthy illness.

Richard served in the United State Army, graduated from Adams State University with a Master’s Degree. He worked many years as an elementary school teacher.

He is survived by his Mother Lena Dominguez, brother, Leroy Dominguez and three sisters, Barbara, Irene and Shirley. Four children, Diane Calcaterra (Dennis), Deborah Hauert (Erich), Darrell (Mary) and David Dominguez (Kim), five grandchildren, one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on January 25, 2013 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Avenue Denver, CO 80236 on staging area A at 3:00PM. Reception to follow at C.B. & Potts located at 6575 South Greenwood Plaza Blvd | Englewood, CO 80111 at 4:30PM.
