Jones is Coach of the Year

Left: Monte Vista Head Coach Greg Jones was named as the 2012 All-Valley Coach of the Year after taking over the Pirates team just days before opening day and leading them to a quarterfinal game in the state playoffs. This is the third straight year that a Monte Vista coach has been named as the Coach of the Year. He is pictured with his athlete, Shadron Wenta, who was named as the All-Valley Player of the Year.
