Tree of Lights

Seemingly hundreds of people filled the Alamosa County Courthouse Tuesday night to celebrate the holiday season, as jcpenney brought its 12-city Holiday Giving Tour to Alamosa. The free event highlighted jcpenney’s philanthropic efforts, and celebrated the country’s tradition of generosity.

The crowd brought this brightly decorated Christmas tree to life by counting from 10 to one, at which point thousands of lights flashed on at once.

Young people had plenty of fun-filled activities to choose from, courtesy of jcpennney’s Holiday Giving Tour. Many had the chance to meet Santa, and others appeared to be captivated by the sight of two reindeer.
