ALAMOSA – Alamosa resident Alfredo Guerrero-Lara, 74, passed away in Alamosa on November 28, 2012. He was born in Mexico to Jose and Ana Guerrero on April 15, 1938. He worked in agriculture for the majority of his life and enjoyed woodworking and building things.
Alfredo is survived by his wife Ofelia Guerrero, his mother Ana Guerrero, his children; Angelina Bravo, Sergio Guerrero, Anna Guerrero, Ruvicelia Guerrero, Juan Guerrero, Fernando Guerrero, Jaoquin Guerrero, Rodrigo Guerrero and Maria Aracelli, along with 25 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, along with his brothers and sisters; Enrique Guerrero, Carmen Guerrero, Rosa Guerrero, Miguel Guerrero, Maria Guerrero, Olga Guerrero and Paulina Guerrero.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister Esther Guerrero.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday December 3, 2012 at Sacred Heat Catholic Church in Alamosa. A visitation will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. on Sunday December 2, 2012 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. A Vigil service with recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday evening. Burial will follow services in the Alamosa cemetery.
