Rakhra doles out back pay

Rakhra Mushroom Farm employees gather outside the front office on Monday to find out if they will receive paychecks owed them. Rakhra Director of Sales Jody Peterson reported on Tuesday that 65 percent of the employees would receive their back pay on Tuesday with the remainder receiving paychecks on Wednesday and Thursday. Peterson said a few of the employees did not show up for work Tuesday but most of them were at work, and she appreciated their dedication. Rakhra’s bankruptcy proceeding is scheduled for a court hearing today (Nov. 28) in Denver.
