ALAMOSA – Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Larson, 91, of Hooper, Colorado passed over on November 8, 2012 in Alamosa, Betty was born on the 16th day of July 1921. She spent most of her life in Wheatridge, Colorado and her final years in the beauty of the San Luis Valley.
Betty was the loving mother of Cary Ash and Judy Messoline. The loving grandmother of Larry Messoline and his wife Lyssa, David Ash, Mick Messoline and his wife Tasha, Brian Ash and his wife Amber. She was the great grandmother of 8 and great-great grandmother of 6. Though not their mother by birth Betty also adored Stan Becker and Mike Messoline as if they were her own children.
Betty’s life was not that of a selfish woman. She gave to all who needed and was loved and respected by all who shared her journey. Though you will be dearly missed we all appreciate the many blessings we received by having you as a part of our lives. Forever in our hearts, “We love you Mom”.
Betty was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all. The family is planning a celebration of life on Sunday November 11, 2012 at Betty’s house at 2502 County Road 61 at 2:00 PM.
