SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Herman Sisneros, 71, former San Luis Valley resident, passed away November 3, 2012 at Pioneer Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Herman was born on May 10, 1941 in Las Tablas, N.M. to Feliberto and Ramona Sisneros.
Herman enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cards, dominoes, cars, handball, and comedy shows. He had a great love for life, family, and friends. He was kind, generous, and non-judgmental, and always willing to lend a helping hand. His amazing sense of humor and quick wit were loved by all who crossed his path.
Herman is survived by his wife, Julia; and children; Herman Jr., Liz (James), Elaine (Pat), Glenn, Frank, Rick (Monica), Roberta (Keith), Salt Lake City, Utah; Irene (Robert), Carlsbad, California, Dominic and Christina of Monte Vista, Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters; Rosie (Ernie)
Rivas, San Clemente, California, Christine Sisneros, Mary Sisneros, Alamosa, Colorado, Bernadette (Anthony) Archuleta, Durango, Colorado, Liz Sisneros, Taos, N.M., brothers; Max Sisneros, Fountain Valley, California, Porfie Lopez, Manassa, Colorado, Manuel (Becky) Sisneros, Alamosa, Colorado, Ernest (Arlen) Sisneros, Antonito, Colorado, Ross Sisneros, Greg (Louise) Sisneros, Center, Colorado, Richard (Liz) Sisneros, Farmington, N. M. numerous nieces and nephews and his best friend, Bert, of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents Feliberto and Ramona, stepmother,
Pilar, sister, Dorothy, brothers, Silver, Walter, Bennie, and Mel.
Cremation was chosen, but a memorial and viewing service will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 6 p.m. at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East
Salt Lake City, Utah with a viewing to follow until 8 p.m.
