Masked suspect at large

ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Police Department has recently taken a report of an attempted burglary/robbery at a local check cashing business. The suspect was dressed in black wearing a white “skeleton” ski mask. The suspect attempted to force the front door immediately after closing, then proceeded to the rear of the business and attempted to kick in the rear door.

Businesses should exercise caution when opening and closing their stores. Persons noticing suspicious persons or activity such as all black attire or ski masks should call CrimeStoppers at 589-4111 or the APD at 589-2548.
