Posted: Friday, Nov 2nd, 2012

VALLEY — A multi-agency drug investigation resulted in four arrests on Thursday, with officers searching for a fourth suspect.

On November 1 the Alamosa Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Colorado State Patrol, Monte Vista Police Department, and Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office culminated a drug investigation with the arrest of four San Luis Valley residents:

• Angela Fernandez, 33, of Alamosa

• William Westland, 54, of Monte Vista

• Jeremiah Marquez, 23, of Monte Vista

• Antonio Cuevas, 29, of Monte Vista

These arrests come as a result of a multi-agency investigation into the illegal sale and distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine. Those who have been arrested are being held in local county detention facilities.

Authorities continue searching for another resident wanted on outstanding warrants related to the sale of illicit drugs in the San Luis Valley in 2012.

The Valley law enforcement authorities ask that anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the remaining wanted person, Karen Hubble, 30, of Alamosa, please contact Alamosa Police Detective Yvonne Gonzales at (719) 589-2548.
