Seniors plan fajita fund-raiser Oct. 6

Good morning everyone,

This Saturday the 6th at 5 p.m. we are having a fundraiser. We are having a fajita dinner. The menu is fajitas, beans, rice, dessert and drinks. The price is $6. We hope to see you all out to help the senior center and have a wonderful meal.

Tomorrow will be poker. Last Tuesday Karen started line dancing. She will be having classes every Tuesday at 10:30 this month. If you are a beginner be sure to come a little bit early.

Friday is Columbus Day. Colorado declared it an official state holiday in 1906. It became a federal holiday in 1937. Government and state offices will be closed. Hawaii, Alaska and South Dakota do not recognize it as a holiday, however South Dakota celebrates the day as Native American Day. Alamosa Senior Center will be open.
