CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Jane Sue (Hines) Schimpf, 71, of Cheyenne, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Schimpf was born August 4, 1938 in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
She was a homemaker and then a caregiver for her late husband, Jack Schimpf. After Jack’s passing she worked for Magic City Enterprises.
Mrs. Schimpf is survived by seven children, Ricky Dean Gehrig of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, Cindy Sue Barnfield of Ukiah, Oregon, Crystal Jean Thompson of Cheyenne, Michael Joseph Schimpf of Brighton, Colorado, Debra Anne Buckless of Aurora, Colorado, and Sharon Kay Bagheri and Constance Lynn Forsett, both of Northglenn, Colorado; three brothers, Robert Lewis Hines of Eureka, California, Donald Eugene Hines of Tucson, Arizona, and Thomas Wayne Hines of Cheyenne; twenty-two grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and many other extended family members.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Wayne and Eugenia Marie (Robinson) Hines.
Sue had a big heart and love for all who she touched. She was devoted to her family, friends, and co-workers. Even in her final hours, she was a passionate and caring person. Others always came first.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
A private family services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a future time and place to be announced.
An open house will be November 28, at 6 p.m., at 802 Owl Creek Avenue, which is Sue’s daughter Chris’ house.
