Sangre de Cristo celebrated the Class of 2014 Friday evening with friends and family in the high school’s gymnasium. Salutatorian Brittany Holcomb, who also sang the National Anthem, and valedictorian Brandton Stokely gave the class’s traditional graduation speeches. “It is our time to make our own unique songs,” said Holcomb, who compared life to a string of different melodies. “I love this song, but I am ready for it to end.” Stokely added, “Plan for the future. Don’t spread yourself thin... Give 100 percent to life.” Sangre de Cristo High School English teacher Roxi Vigil gave the commencement address, and the graduation ceremony also included a slide show and special student and teacher recognitions. The Sangre de Cristo Class of 2014 graduates are Brandon James Beiriger, Jessica Rose Chiles, Jessica Lynn Fritz, Brittany Jean Elizabeth Holcomb, Gunther Wolf Hunter, Arianna Leigh Martinez, Jacob Robert Mortensen, Holley Sue Pulkrabek, Tyler John Reynolds, Clay Thomas Brown, Richard James Damewood, Melanie Caitlin Heide, Perry Solomon Hotz, Tori Siobhan Hussey, Jessica Ann Moorman, Cody Ray Cooley Parker, Jorge Ivan Ramirez, Brandton Joseph Wayne Stokely and Nicklaus Neal Walters.
