VALLEY — After dealing with the Alamosa County Application process for more than a year, High Valley Healing finally opened last week at 711 West Highway 160 in the old Spectracom building next to ProSheds.
“Finding the right location was a challenge” said the owner, “but for years our patients have had to travel all the way to our Crestone Dispensary, so being close by in Alamosa now will be a real benefit for everyone living in this area.”
“One thing I learned in my 30 years of clinical practice” said the owner, a retired psychologist, “is that dealing with chronic severe pain drastically impacts the quality and experience of anyone’s daily life. After researching alternative methods for pain relief, I became convinced of medical marijuana’s effectiveness in treating pain from arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraines, cancer, colitis, endometriosis, and numerous other debilitating diseases without the toxic liver and kidney-damaging side-effects of pharmaceutical drugs like Oxycodone.”
