Good morning everyone,
Labor Day is Monday, September 2nd. Labor Day is a United States Federal Holiday observed on the first Monday of September; it celebrates the economic and social contributions of workers. Labor Day has come to be celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of summer.
As I told you last week, this weekend is the Early Iron. Cars are displayed on Saturday, Aug. 31, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. At 8:30 p.m. The Alamosa Senior Citizens will have a biscuits and sausage gravy breakfast the Saturday morning of the Early Iron Festival. The menu is: biscuits and sausage gravy; scrambled eggs; hash browns and drinks. The price is $6.50 per person. Hope to see everyone come out and enjoy the beautiful days as it will soon be winter.
In September, we are going to have a yard sale. I will let you know the date and time later.
