SAN LUIS VALLEY — Following are the May menus for the senior centers throughout the San Luis Valley. Call 589-4511 or sign up at the individual meal sites.

Wednesday, May 1 — Meatloaf with brown gravy, potatoes, mixed vegetables, strawberry applesauce, whole wheat bread.

Thursday, May 2 — Taco salad casserole, salsa, zucchini/tomatoes, peaches, whole wheat tortilla.

Friday, May 3 — Sloppy Joe on wheat bun, sun chips, seasoned spinach, mandarin oranges, frog eye salad.

Monday, May 6 — Beef stroganoff, orange spiced carrots, green salad/dressing, mixed fruit, whole wheat bread.

Tuesday, May 7 — Fish creole, cheesy potatoes, broccoli/cauliflower salad, sliced peaches, whole wheat bread.

Wednesday, May 8 — Pork chop with country style gravy, tossed salad with two tomato slices, apricots, whole wheat bread.

Thursday, May 9 — Swiss steak, parsley potatoes, three bean salad, half orange, whole wheat bread.

Friday, May 10 — Chicken fajita, tomato, lettuce, cheese, salsa, Spanish rice, pears, whole wheat crackers.

Monday, May 13 — Chili relleno casserole, salsa, yellow squash/tomatoes, plums, whole wheat tortilla.

Tuesday, May 14 — Macaroni and cheese with ham, Brussels sprouts, Waldorf salad with walnuts, whole wheat bread, chocolate pudding.

Wednesday, May 15 — Barbecue beef on wheat bun, oven baked beans, coleslaw, pears, chocolate/frosting on chocolate cake.

Thursday, May 16 — Egg salad sandwich, whole wheat bread, sliced tomato and lettuce, chef salad with turkey with dressing, strawberry applesauce.

Friday, May 17 — Roast chicken, scalloped potatoes, tossed salad with lite Italian, Harvard beets, cinnamon apples, whole wheat roll.

Monday, May 20 — Beef and broccoli stir fry, steamed brown rice, steamed carrots, peaches, whole wheat bread.

Tuesday, May 21 — Chef’s salad bowl with chicken, ranch dressing, whole wheat crackers, oatmeal cookie, apricots.

Wednesday, May 22 — Crunchy fish/tartar sauce, cole slaw, mixed vegetables, pineapple mandarin orange compote, whole wheat bread.

Thursday, May 23 — Chicken enchilada casserole, salsa, Spanish rice, tossed salad/dressing, fruit cocktail.

Friday, May 24 — Tator tot casserole, asparagus, tossed salad with dressing, whole wheat bread, small banana.

Monday, May 27 — Closed for Memorial Day.

Tuesday, May 28 — Baked potatoes with broccoli and cheese, Caesar salad, fruit yogurt, cinnamon graham crackers.

Wednesday, May 29 — Spaghetti and meat sauce, tossed salad with dressing, green beans, apricot halves, bread sticks.

Thursday, May 30 — Chicken noodle soup, side salad with tuna salad, dressing, whole wheat crackers, sugar cookie, half orange slices.

Friday, May 31 — Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus, whole wheat roll, apples/pears.
