SAN LUIS VALLEY Following are the April menus for the senior centers throughout the San Luis Valley. Reservations are required. Call South Central Colorado Seniors at 589-4511 or sign up at the individual meal sites. All meals are served with 1-percent milk, no trans fat and no salt margarine. Margarine is served with bread products. Menus are subject to change.
Monday, April 1 Sloppy Joe on whole wheat bun, oven fries, creamy coleslaw, Brussels sprouts, tropical fruit cup.
Tuesday, April 2 Macaroni and cheese, green salad/dressing, sunflower seeds, five-way vegetables, apple/pear, whole wheat crackers.
Wednesday, April 3 Turkey tetrazzini, Italian green beans, cottage cheese with mandarin oranges, whole wheat bread.
Thursday, April 4 Half egg salad sandwich, sliced tomato and lettuce, clam chowder, pea salad, pineapple chunks, whole wheat crackers.
Friday, April 5 Chicken enchilada casserole, Spanish rice, salad/dressing, fruit cocktail, whole wheat crackers.
Monday, April 8 Oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli, apricots, whole wheat roll.
