ALAMOSA — The musical talents of Micaela Morgan, a student at Alamosa High School will be presented on March 16 at the Alamosa High School auditorium at 7 p.m.

This concert will not be the usual however. It will be a benefit concert for a young cancer patient in need of help. All proceeds will go to Tara to help her in any way needed. All donations will be appreciated and there will be no other payment to attend.

Morgan has played the violin for six years and would like to pursue this as her future career.

She says, “Violin is my life, it completes me in every way. I don’t think I could live without it.”

Tara has been a huge inspiration to Morgan. “She always has a huge smile for everyone. Despite all of her trials, she is always happy. It makes me appreciate what I do have.”

Besides the violin, Morgan also participates in journalism, yearbook, and student council. She also plays for the choir whenever needed.

Morgan is hopeful for a great turnout to assist her friend in her battle of cancer. Each and every dollar will be greatly appreciated from both Tara and Morgan.
