CENTER — Center Conservation District will hold a Private Pesticide Applicators License Workshop on March 13, in the Conference Room of the new USDA Service Center located at 0048 W. County Road 10N, Center. All persons interested in obtaining their new Private Pesticide Applicators State License are invited to attend. Registration and a light breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. A training session for the applicator’s test will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a complimentary lunch at noon.
The applicator’s testing session will begin at 1 p.m. Don Henderson, Pesticide Education Specialist, will conduct the training and give the test, which will be an open book test. Cost of the session is $30, which includes the training, a study book, breakfast and lunch.
Center Conservation District will pay the training cost of $30 for the first 20 people that sign up and attend this workshop.
