Seniors invited to check out the center

Good Morning,

Today we are asking all you seniors who do not belong to our center to come in and see what we are all about. Our goals and objectives are to have more seniors join our center as members. We want to help our seniors become more independent. Another goal would be to try and seek out more businesses to become involved in our senior center also our colleges.

There is a lot to do here for anyone who would like to get involved. We have exercise programs, line dancing, puzzles, pool, computers, bingo and trips, and much more. We provide transportation, so give us a call if you do not have a way.

Our seniors are very important to the community. Isolation is a problem for many of our seniors and we hope to get them involved. The City and the County of Alamosa have been very generous and have helped us out tremendously. Donations are very much appreciated here at the center as our utilities and insurances are very expensive.

Tomorrow is our pool tournament in Monte Vista. If you like to gamble, come in and play our pull tabs. It is a lot of fun and you might win some money.
