Lucille Sarah celebrates 95th birthday in Alamosa

ALAMOSA — Alamosa resident Lucille Sarah turned 95 on September 23.

The family held a party for her on Saturday, Sept. 22, at the senior center in Alamosa. Over 40 family members were in attendance.

Her daughter and son in law Marie and Gordon Buck of Alamosa, her daughter and son in law Phyllis and Bill Barlow of Eads and her son and daughter in law Rick and Chris Sarah of Callahan were in attendance. A granddaughter and great grandson traveled from Annapolis, MD and another great grandson (recently returned from Afghanistan), his wife and 7 week old great great granddaughter from Anchorage, Alaska and a grandson and family traveled in from Springer, NM.

Other family from Pueblo and Eads and Coolidge, Kansas were there to celebrate the life of Lucille, aka Mom, Grammy, GG, 3G.
