Letter to the Editor:'Amen' to gay marriage

God bless Dr. Taylor and Luke Yoder! I consider myself a very religious person and stand assured that those who know me would say the same. Whether we are religious or not, how dare we have the sheer audacity to tell a person who they can love!

Dr. Taylor writes: “The primary arguments against marriage equality are religious based … We do not have the right to impose those beliefs on others …!” I couldn’t say “Amen” any louder!

Also, Dr. Taylor writes “… it becomes strikingly clear that there are no legitimate legal, scientific or social reasons to forbid same sex marriages.” Again I say a loud “Amen.” Well, don’t tell that to the Evangelicals and Republicans. They say that homosexuality is a sin. May I add that homophobia is too!

On March 23rd I shall be the first person in line wanting to see the play “8.”
