Letter to the editor: Thanks, South Fork

My compliments go the South Fork Town Board for shutting the doors on any and all types of marijuana operations in the town limits.  They are to be commended for this bold and thoughtful decision.  Only in Colorado would the populace vote for a bill that flaunts a federal law.  On the other hand, it is not surprising when they observe the White House picking and choosing which federal laws it will enforce.

America is at the crossroads of its future.  Will it continue to follow the Christian beliefs of our forefathers or will it succumb to moral decay within, as did the Roman Empire?  Remember Sodom and Gomorrah?  Hopefully, more communities will take a stand against marijuana as did the town of South Fork and make a small step towards keeping our great nation on an even keel.
