Letter: Disarm and be happy

We the undersigned have chosen to write in support of the recent opinion article by Virginia Simmons. Her article as you may remember called for some sort of undefined, nebulous gun control, or confiscation or something or other. The emotional cry to “just do something” rang loud and clear. Well, we don’t care so much for the details of how it all happens. We just want everyone to be disarmed so that we can enjoy life and be happy! Get everyone to run in their firearms, or we can arrange to have them picked up for you. You can trust the government! The government is your friend! The government will protect you from every threat! So, why hesitate? Let’s get those evil guns off of the street. And remember, it’s all for the children. Thank you for reading.
