FORT GARLAND — David S. Emerick, 72, of Fort Garland passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by his son Dale. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of Fort Garland and his son, Joe, of Alamosa.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held at United for Christ Community Church in Blanca at 2:00 p.m., February 23, 2013, Pastor Jeff Maskevich officiating. Cake and coffee reception to follow the service. No flowers. Make donations to the family or to Hospice.
