ALAMOSA — Alamosa resident David Lujan passed away January 18, 2013. David was born on December 26, 1978 to Cindy Lujan Gasca. David was an amazing son, father, brother and uncle who was an avid sports fan, he liked being in the mountains with his family, fishing, hunting and camping. He was a miner by occupation.
Survivors include his parents Cindy and Rocky Gasca of Alamosa, CO; daughter Britney Lujan of Grand Junction. CO; sons Donavan and Enrique Lujan both of Grand Junction, CO; brothers Le-John (Brandy) Roybal of Denver, CO; Leon Ruybal of Albuquerque, NM; Joaquin Lujan of Alamosa, CO; grandmother Josie Lujan of Seven Mile Plaza, CO; aunts Priscilla Falcon, Lovida Solis, Helen Lujan, Julie Ann Lujan, Gaye Lujan, Alicia Lujan and Janice Sanchez all of Seven Mile Plaza, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was preceded in death by his sister Lena Lujan and Dennis Pacheco who was like a brother to him.
A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Seven Mile Plaza. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Del Norte, Colorado. Interment will follow at the Seven Mile Plaza Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
