Theodoro Clyde Carson, 63
SAN FRANCISCO, Colo. — San Francisco, Colo. resident Theodoro Clyde Carson, 63, passed away Nov. 17, 2009. Clyde was born Dec. 2, 1945 in San Francisco, the son of Miguel Teodoro Carson and Cora Quintana Carson.
He was a Vietnam War veteran in the United States Navy. Clyde was a member of the VFW Post #142 of San Luis. He had many hobbies some of which included gambling, fishing, going to bike rallies, traveling, but most of all spending time with his loving family and friends.
Survivors include his mother Cora Carson of San Francisco; sons Jessie Carson of San Francisco and David (Carla) Carson of Alamosa; grandchildren Daniel, Jaylynn, Brianna and Jared; great-grandchild Alicia; sisters Lilly Carson of San Luis, Louise Martinez of Colorado Springs and Cindy Carson of San Luis; brothers Lee Carson of San Luis, William “Weeds” Carson of Alamosa and Victor Carson of San Luis; special cousins Theresa Taylor and Gabrielle Aragon as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clyde was preceded in death by his father Miguel Teodoro Carson, brother Jose Fred Carson and one son Theodoro Carson Jr.
A vigil service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Fri., Nov. 20, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Romero Chapel in San Luis. Another will be held at 7 p.m. at San Francisco Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Sat., Nov. 21, 2009 at 10 a.m. at San Francisco Church. Interment will follow at San Francisco Cemetery with full military honors. Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday from 1 until 5 p.m. at Romero Chapel in San Luis who is in care of the arrangements.
