DEL NORTE — Roy Muncy, 56, of Del Norte, Colorado passed away at home November 11, 2009. Roy was born June 24, 1953 in Pensacola, Florida to Harvey R. Muncy and Elsie V. Allen.

Roy enjoyed the outdoors including arrowhead hunting, fishing, and camping. His favorite team to watch was the Denver Broncos. He always enjoyed fixing his home and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Preceding Roy in death were is parents Harvey Muncy and Elsie, brother John Muncy and nephew Micheal Muncy

Roy is survived by his two brothers Bob (Mary) Muncy of Pueblo, Colorado and Mike Muncy of Del Norte, Colorado, one daughter Tara Muncy of Del Norte, Colorado, two sons Josh Muncy of Gillette, Wyoming and Aaron Rives Muncy, eight grandchildren, Josiah Muncy, Ethan Muncy, Samantha Muncy, James (JJ) Muncy, Estevan Muncy, Samuel Muncy, Donovan Muncy, and I’yonna Muncy.

The family chose cremation. A memorial service to celebrate and honor the life of Roy Muncy will be held on Monday November 16, 2009 at 10 a.m. at The New Life Fellowship Church in Del Norte, Colorado.
