ALAMOSA— Moose are to report back to their stomping grounds on August 22.
The Alamosa Board of Education (ABOE) approved the 2014-2015 school calendar Monday night with some adjustments and consideration for the future.
After hearing from Alamosa School District (ASD) calendar committee members about the impact state testing has and will have on scheduling, the ABOE voted to keep next year’s calendar similar to this year’s instead of moving the students’ start date to Sept. 8 and end date to June 10 to better accommodate the mandated exams.
