The second annual Alamosa Parade of Lights went off without a hitch on Friday night.
This year's big belt buckle winner was Pespi. It took first place out of the 16 contestants. Melissa Sanchez holds her daughter, Yazmin, 4, while the light covered cars drive by. Once candy was tossed on Main Street, Yazmin did her best to take home the holiday sweets. Xcel Energy took second place in this year's competition with the Alamosa Thrift Store (not pictured)coming in at a close third.
