VALLEY — A multi-agency drug investigation resulted in four arrests on Thursday, with officers searching for a fourth suspect.
On November 1 the Alamosa Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Colorado State Patrol, Monte Vista Police Department, and Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office culminated a drug investigation with the arrest of four San Luis Valley residents:
• Angela Fernandez, 33, of Alamosa
• William Westland, 54, of Monte Vista
• Jeremiah Marquez, 23, of Monte Vista
• Antonio Cuevas, 29, of Monte Vista
These arrests come as a result of a multi-agency investigation into the illegal sale and distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine. Those who have been arrested are being held in local county detention facilities.
Authorities continue searching for another resident wanted on outstanding warrants related to the sale of illicit drugs in the San Luis Valley in 2012.
