ALAMOSA--Going paperless means going green, but doesn't necessarily mean saving green. The 12th Judicial District will soon be losing revenue due to electronic filing and discovery.

Resident dies in glider crash

Historic railroad truck makes stop at depot

Conservation lawsuit could cause more harm than good

MOFFAT -- One man was killed and another seriously injured in a pair of traffic accidents in the San Luis Valley over the weekend.

Most San Luis Valley schools are below average on ACT, PSAT tests

VALLEY --The Colorado Department of Education recently released scores for the ACT and PSAT for every school district in the state. For the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test), Sargent Senior High School was the only school in the Valley to beat the state's overall score average of 944.0.

ALAMOSA -- An August 6 crash at the intersection of Highway 370 and Alamosa County Road 100 has become a fatal.
Colorado State Patrol Technician Garth Crowther stated on Tuesday that Karen Severson, 63, of Eagle River, Alaska, who was a passenger in a 2005 Jeep Wrangler driven by Larry Severson, 66, passed away.
