Robert Clyde Munson, 81

Longtime Romeo resident Robert Clyde Munson, 81, passed away surrounded by family on July 8, 2018 in Pueblo, Colorado.  He was born on November 7, 1936 in Fort Madison, Iowa to Leo Clyde and Evelyn Davis Munson.  He married Sheral Mary Huffaker on March 19, 1962. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. He worked as a fruit and vegetable inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture and later retired from that profession.  He was a private pilot and he loved to fly.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Sheral Munson, his children, Stephanie (Ed) Goldbranson, Stacey (Robert) Holland, Heather (John) Comstock and Derick (Meigan) Munson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren;  Casey (Kaitlin) McCoy and their son Cole, David McCoy, Jennifer (George) Hanna and their daughter Riley, Cheyann (Tyler) McClayland, Ty Goldbranson, Stevie Schuster, Taylor Munson, Troy Munson, Jessica Munson, Bentley Munson and Jemma Munson.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and his great grandchild Chase McCoy.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday July 14, 2018 in Manassa , CO at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints meeting house.  A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday evening at the church in Manassa and prior to the service from 10:00 am to 10:45 am on Saturday.  To express condolences, please visit www.rogersfunerals.com
