ALAMOSA — Theodora Madrid celebrated her 85th birthday on March 9th with a luncheon at Nino’s Restaurant in Alamosa. 

She was surrounded by family members who traveled many miles to be with her.  She gave her family 10 Tips to Live to be 85 years old among which were: “When you wake up, thank God you are alive and worship Him, and do something kind quickly, because you may never have an opportunity to do it again.”

Madrid has two children, Anthony Madrid (Antonito), and Elizabeth Yund (Colorado Springs), four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews. 

They had a great time with delicious food and wonderful company.  Kudos to Nino’s Restaurant for the wonderful food and excellent service.
