CENTER — Center resident Isaiah N. Sanchez, 26, went to his eternal rest on October 31, 2019 in the company of angels. Isaiah was born on March 15, 1993 in Alamosa, Colorado, the son of Rose Sanchez. Isaiah was a kind, outgoing and loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed going on walks, listening to music and always being the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved going to visit his friends and cousin and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his mother Rose Sanchez of Center, CO; sisters Erika Sanchez, Felicia Sanchez both of Center, CO; brothers Diego Sanchez, Elijah (Amanda) Sanchez both of Alamosa, CO; grandmother Adeline Sanchez of Center, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Isaiah was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles G. Sanchez, aunt Dolores Sanchez, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 7 p.m. at St. Francis Jerome Catholic Church in Center. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11:30 a.m also at St. Francis Jerome Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Luis Valley Cemetery in Monte Vista.
